paper airplanes

This week for chapter challenge I did the paper airplanes. I searched up different designs of paper airplanes some were hard and some were easy, dad helped me to make them. We have 4 different designs.

Design 1

This was our first one we made it went 4.2m.



        


Design 2

 This one went over 10m before it hit the fence


 







Design 3

 Dad helped build this one because it was very complex.
It went over 15m before it turned and went further and hit something.
This was the winner.










Design 4

 This only went 5.6m to start with.
But then we experimented with putting elevator tabs on the back of the plane
and then it went over 10m

Numbots&TTrockstars

  Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on level Tungsten of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because It's really fun it's not that hard though some leaves are a little hard because you dont no what to do but when you no how its easy. What I find challenging is when you dont no what to do, it's challenging but when you don't, it's easy. This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. First we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables. I think that TTRockstars will be a level up from numbots because it helps me alot more because timetables make me no deviderbyes

Play, Make, Create

 We did Play, Make, Create. Mrs. Loft read us a story the title of the story was The Gruffalo. I made a bridge so the mouse can get over the stream safely I put all the animals in it like the owl he met and the fox and the snake and of course the Gruffalo. I tried to make mine different so I made one of those things where you cut a line in the paper and you can slide the mouse across so it looks like it's moving. The part that was hard was making the bridge it was hard to get it to stick. The easy part was drawing the stuff before I cut it out.

Haven's chapter challenge a way with words

27.02.2020 For chapter challenge, I did away with words with Madison. The part that was challenging was dabbing the tea bag on the piece of paper because we got some rips. And the part that was easy was the writing for the letter. The part that I enjoyed most was working with Madison. We made it by first writing the letter and then to print it out and then we got a tea bag and a cup with cold water and then dipped the teabag in the water and dabbed it on the letter.
