 We did Play, Make, Create. I worked with Lola she was a great partner! We made a campground but we didn't get it finished. There is an island which I made Lola made the fire and the ocean and I also made a Marshmallow pack which had marshmallow squishy in it which I also made and I stuck a toothpick on the packet so you can stab it into the Marshmallow and burn it with the fire. The hard part was making the island because it took a long long time because I had to cut up squares in the cardboard then stick them together using tape. The easy part was making the Marshmallows because all I had to do was cut circle pieces of paper and then staple half of them together then push the fluff in and staple it up and wala its a squishy

 Today we did a Math Mystery. I worked with Marley!!! we got the answer as Mollie. Mollie is the one who stole the Trophy. The hard part was the end because we got a few answers wrong but then figured them out by getting some help from our friend. The easy part was the start because you had to say which was heaver and stuff.

 We got to draw sketch do a google drawing and all that for a recreate of the map's n maze. This is the stuff we want to make for the maze.  We did Play, Make, Create. Mrs. Loft read us a story the title of the story was The Gruffalo. I made a bridge so the mouse can get over the stream safely I put all the animals in it like the owl he met and the fox and the snake and of course the Gruffalo. I tried to make mine different so I made one of those things where you cut a line in the paper and you can slide the mouse across so it looks like it's moving. The part that was hard was making the bridge it was hard to get it to stick. The easy part was drawing the stuff before I cut it out.

  Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I didn't win any races but I am proud of myself. I competed in the too lengths breaststroke and came second to last. We had two art sessions this week and it was so fun and I am excited for the next art session. In literacy this week we have written a really good story about a dog that goes missing. Part of our maths program is NumBots and I think I am doing really well. It is quite easy but it’s really fun.

  Week 4, Term 1, 2021 The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is Whetu stars because mum got to come and help me create it. We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Kennedy. Our art is going to be a landscape circle but it is not just a normal landscape it's going to be made out of patterns. We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look AMAZING!!! because we all put our best into it and made them look great!! Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling a bit nervous but also a little bit excited because I will be with my friends.

  Week 3, Term 1, 2021 Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Mrs Kennedy and my friends with things I wasn't sure on but after they helped me I knew everything I was meant to know.  The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time is water games because it was hot and we didn't get to have the pool that day so our nice and wonderful teachers let us do that!! The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is Crocodile, a game me and my friends play every-day on the big blue and always have fun each and every time we play it. One word that describes learning in Whetu is Fun!! because everything we seem to do is exciting and fun and I never get bored of it.  Something I am looking forward to is camping overnight with my friends and some of my class.
